Our basic and practical guide to understand puppy nutritional requirements
First of all, congratulations on getting a new puppy! It is the most wonderful feeling in the world. We believe that no truer love exists in the world than a dog has for his human. And it is often reciprocated with equal intensity.

But as it is said, with a cute puppy comes tonnes of responsibility. Throughout his life, he will be dependent on you for food, shelter and a good play session. And it is especially true when he is young. You will be his father, mother and friend. It is journey which is not without challenges.

We are here to help and guide you in this journey. What we provide is a helping hand in selecting the best possible nutrition, recreation and care for your fur kid. All our products are chosen with a lot of love and care and are first ‘approved’ by our own pets. The brands that we carry are among the best in the world and not usually found in India.

Principles of Canine Nutrition

The cute puppy that you hold in your hands (& hearts) shares 98% of its DNA with the wolf. It is essentially a carnivore which thrives on a balanced diet which is rich in meat and its derivatives. While choosing the best possible nutrition for your fur kid, this is what you need to keep in mind.

1.       The first ingredient by weight is the most important because there is more of that ingredient than any other. The first ingredients should always be real meat.

2.       Avoid foods with byproducts, artificial coloring and preservatives – Byproducts are the leftovers of the meat industry and may include things like feathers, nails and other things unfit for human consumption.

3.       Choose foods with
